The month of June was a busy and successful one, 2 summercamps of 3 days each in Italy and Germany plus a Seminar at the European IWKA HQ in Amsterdam.
The Northern IWKA Wing Tjun summercamp was held in Osnabrück at the German IWKA HQ led by Sifu Wolfgang Herges, it was a great success with also here around a 100 participants that came to study under special guest Escrima Legend GM Rene Latosa and GM Sergio Iadarola.
The Grandmaster of the IWKA Sifu Sergio Iadarola was surprised by the recent explosion of new IWKA Wing Tjun schools in Italy therefore he stayed in Italy for an extra 2 weeks to support his Italian Chief instructors Sifu Nicola Colonnata and Sifu Mauro Gibin, who are doing a fantastic Job and are on their way of making Italy the strongest IWKA Country Worldwide with around 50 schools at the time of writing. The southern European IWKA Wing Tjun Summercamp was attended by around a 100 participants.
Both summercamps were filled with loads of theory, history and practical exercises of the IWKA Wing Tjun system.
Form , Chi Sao, Kiu Sao, Lat Sao were all on the Menu as well as special surprises for the guests by both summercamps, like the special Cocktail Bar performance and delights in Germany, all in all Great atmosphere and FUN for all, already looking forward to next years summercamps!
And then finally the seminar at the IWKA European HQ in Amsterdam and also there around a 100 participants that were taken through several topics and were given the chance of asking several questions from which Sifu Sergio took the Seminar onwards resulting in a great learning experience for all, Sifu Michael Morris one of the IWKA Masters also attended to assist at the Seminar.
